DENTAL RADIATION PROTECTION ADVISER
We held our third on-line IRMER course on February 27th, which was again well received but with far fewer people attending. We therefore have no plans to run another course for the foreseeable future. However, if you do require to do the Radiation Protection / IRMER element of your regular CPD later in the year, please drop us a line and if we get sufficient enquiries will look at hosting another Zoom course in the autumn / winter

Additional Help - update
We are pleased to announce that Liz Benson will be formally joining YourRPA as a partner in April to allow Graham to begin a phased retirement. Liz will be looking after all our new dental practice clients. Graham will continue to work with all our dental engineering clients who we recommend to do your Critical Examinations and three-yearly Quality Assurance testing and offer support where needed. Simon and Louise will continue to provide full admin support for both Liz and Graham. It will be very much ‘business as usual’!
Comments about our on-line training course:
Having been on numerous Dental Engineers courses over the past 30 years - I must tell you that yours was simply head and shoulders above all others!
Concise - well delivered - interesting - funny - focussed and utterly relevant. The latter often missing with other providers in my opinion.
So thank you for this - really most excellent.
Thank you very much for the course today, it was absolutely spot on.
Just a quick email to thank you for your on line course this morning which we all found extremely well presented and easy to follow.

New Dental Guidance Notes
After multiple delays the new Dental Guidance Notes were finally published on 13th October 2020. These can be downloaded for free from the FGDP website.
The main change as far as content of our dental files is concerned is the new system for grading X-rays. We will be sending out a revised section 5.2 to all our clients shortly but, in the mean time, you should familiarise yourselves with this change (and others) and contact your own RPA/MPE if necessary.
